After a gas leak was found by the crew doing street line work, I called Trethewey Brothers and got a very quick response. The plumbers were efficient and were very courteous in answering questions and giving clear explanations. The people at the office too were very helpful and polite. Everyone I dealt with seemed sincerely interested in making this process as pleasant and as cost-effective as possible.

These guys are the best. I called in the morning that my water heater had rusted out and needed to be repaired. I had hot water by 2pm. They are courteous, professional, and very skilled.
We've had TBros service our boiler for the last 5 years, and it purrs like a kitten. But more than that, their technicians are always professional AND personable. They always answer all my questions, tell me what they are doing and why. It's not just transactional, they actually share understanding about the equipment in your home. It feels like they are on my "home team".
They are very friendly and professional, but they are not always prompt. Their prices are usually fair but sometimes it doesn't make sense. I had them change a toilet for less than $200 but then a few days ago they changed 2 faucets for almost $370. I'm overall satisfied with their service but I wish their prices were lower.
I am very pleased with the work performed by the two plumbers, Connor and Mac, from TBROS (Trethewey Brothers, Inc.). They replaced an outside spigot along with its interior shut-off valve. They were prompt, efficient and good natured.The cost was in line with my expectations too. The person in the office who I spoke with was helpful and upbeat. So I would definitely contact TBROS again.

Eddie came for a plumbing job that turned out to be an HVAC issue, not his “usual wheelhouse”. An hour later, he had the problem diagnosed and fixed. He also noticed that the water pressure was too high, and fixed that too. Very impressive. I might mention that he came same day that I called for help. I highly recommend this company.

The A-Team (Connor and Vinny) came to repair my boiler today. Didn’t take long for them to assess the problems with unit. They found a few major problems causing us to not have hot water or heat. These men are extremely professional, and efficient and most of all cleaned the area they used to do their work. My family has used TBros for 20+ years.

We have relied on the expertise of TBros for 32 years. Our 104-year-old Victorian has a very complicated, multi-zone heating system. Last month we had a strange situation where all the heat was blasting into one room only. We couldn't turn it off. TBros responded to our emergency situation immediately and painstakingly identified three faulty zone heads. They ordered the parts and returned the following day to complete the job. We wouldn't trust our house to any other plumbing company - their skilled staff know what they're doing. Thank you, Andrew!
We are exclusively TBros clients for 17+ years at the same address in West Roxbury. The work performed has always been professional and high-quality, including the hardware they provide/install. Their work for us has been: hot water heaters, whole-house water sediment filter, kitchen faucet set and garbage disposal, outdoor hose spigots, bathroom faucet sets, washer water hook-up replacement, gas dryer metal vent pipe installation, and drain stoppages.
